"Grief; Release"
The goal of this illustration is to utilize the symbolism of the zodiac sign, Aquarius, to translate into a message of overcoming grief.

As the year ends. Though messy and good the honest highlight was to see #IllSeries come more to life. We're currently on the 5-6th draft and I just can't wait to see it come to fruition in 2021.
And then fast-forward. Wow. Finally in art school. Something I was weary of. It's been super fun and I've loved learning again after being out of school for a year. Honestly refreshing to be surrounded by inspiring #illustration students and teachers.
My faith as a Christian has and always kept me steady through the roughest times and all the more I find myself holding strong to it. I'm not one to express it explicitly in my art but I hit a rough patch in particular in March. Of this overwhelming realization of what lied ahead
All along this year, I met incredibly great people who have become cherished friends heading into 2021. They've both challenged, annoyed, and made me laugh through this year. Thanks friendos
Oh, how I wish this wasn't still relevant. I skipped a few months in between when the Pandemic hit in making art. More so writing/working and just couldn't get myself to draw. But when this idea came to mind I couldn't help but feature my fave Canadian #DeadPool
It was the first time I actually tried an art trend (besides Inktober) but #ToonMeChallenge helped me grown so much with my art and socials. Was so glad to meet so many lovely people through it.
We started this year with this piece. I was really delving and just honing to develop my style. And hey! We still had the old watermark then. Regardless of your thoughts on #TheRiseofSkywalker I knew when I saw this shot I was gonna draw it.
The 3rd and final concept I made to help me figure out my "Grief Release" piece. I added a character this time and found it translated the meaning and message far better.
