I had an art critique this past Monday and my teacher said I drew hands really well (not in this artwork). 😰 like legit hands are so complex and tricky.

All I can say is the only reason I can draw hands is because I've drawn so many in my own reflectiveness of my health.

With each new portrait I made this year it became a form of acceptance of these physical parts of me that aren't the average, the ideal, instead they became more goofy, fun. The childlike reflections we used to have of ourselves.
