Even though Conan has to help the fact that Kogoro can solve the case through random hints like this shows that he'd be a perfectly fine detective in his own right as long as he put his heart into it, I hope the series will end with him being a better man, the potential is there

Unfortunately I know this show well enough to know the "Oi oi..." is imminent.

But I also know it well enough to know that Kogoro will pull through ultimately!! That's how these focus episodes go #DetectiveConan

They may not get along but I love that Conan cares about Kogoro enough to cover for him when he's about to be humiliated by the reputation he's gotten because of Conan. #DetectiveConan
