My entry for this week's Spoonflower design challenge, "otherworldly botanicals". I was so excited about this theme and had so much fun doing it!

My entry for this week's Spoonflower design challenge. The theme is "Birding" and I chose to draw a grey heron, a majestic creature that I'm sometimes lucky enough to see in my garden or fishing in the local brook. And as for the shapes and colours... I just had fun!

I'm not much of a sports guy so the first thing that came to mind for this prompt was... the fish! I love all kinds of rays, they're beautiful and their silly little underside faces are so cute. The background features mermaid's purses.
