This was damn great yeah. There's so much going on (plots within plots, thematic dualities, Hamlet's deeply layered character arc, etc.) that it's basically impossible to get a full scope of the story after only one read. Will re-visit this in the future. The rest is silence. 🏌️♂️
Done with Y: The Last Man, and it was damn great. I really liked how the world is set-up, and how it evolves. One of the more interesting post-apocalyptic worlds I've seen. There's some really neat plot developments and the ending was nice. Pretty smooth read too.
Done with my reread of Houseki no Kuni, and oh boy am I glad I did this. Easily one of the most conceptually unique fantasy series of any medium. The suffering was still there just like it was my first time reading, but there was a considerably greater degree of investment. 👌
Wow, it's hard to explain in one tweet just how much of a masterpiece Muramasa is without regressing into a tears in my eyes spiel, but this was truly monumental. I just can't stop thinking about that final stretch. What a conclusion, what a story, what a character Kageaki is. 🗣️
God this album is so fucking good. Can't believe I held off on listening to her stuff for so long bc it isn't on Spotify. lmao
Done w/ the Hero route in Muramasa and it was quite amazing. Yet again, it's all about a nuanced conflict of ideals. The whole exploration of justice and evil was incredible, and Kageaki's epiphany over the Law of Balance and his mom's words almost got me teary-eyed. 👌 #fmdm
Chapter 5 of Muramasa was so good. You could kinda infer some of what'd happened from the previous tidbits of info we got but everything comes together so nicely here. The mom was a great character. These first 5 chapters were some excellent build-up, hyped for what's next. #fmdm
