What started with some ideation for a Congalala ended with an experiment in getting fast and loose. So have a more generic ape monster.

Done for @arvalis's most recent contest. Inspired by the way Monster Hunter encapsulates the designs of its monsters into their weapons, I took the flintlock and walked backwards; and eventually this fella was born.
