anyway hello new followers, i hope u enjoy the various updates and bits and pieces on this twitter! i have nothing big to offer because i'm still furiously scriptwriting but here's all the official art so far (though I'm feeling the twitch to redo it...again)
I've been doodling Solanum a bit more than the others, so I'm trying to make up for that a little bit. Writing continues so here's some art instead.
Something that's not directly dev-related! More doodling/practice.
Doodling concepts for types of shot/background combinations I want to use sprites for instead of pulling out the CGs every time I want to do something a bit more complex. I like moving sprites around a screen even if it'll take more work on my end.
And here they all are together, in sprite form rather than height chart form! Fun fact: I got fed up with drawing every single chain link by hand, so Seax was the tipping point for me actually making a proper chain brush, haha.
Concept vs sprite, for Ghislain. The biggest change is their cloak covers more when it used to be folded back over their shoulders somewhat. I think it's ultimately a better design choice that tells you more about the character, but it's still surprising to see the change.
Seax's old concept versus his new sprite art. He hasn't changed much visually, though he's gotten more visibly cagey as I've developed him as a character.
Comparisons between the old, draft sprite/concept style and the finalized sprite style. It's come a long way since the first draft.
Solanum has a different outfit in the start, for reasons that will become clear when you play the game. It's a secret for now, though.
