Wing scales and veins of a pink lady, Vanessa cardui. This is a single stack out of a big stack and stitch project which is not finished yet.
Orache moth, Trachea atriplicis. The third in the bunch. I have already shown you this beautiful owl with the rather rare green colour, but this makes a great trio with the other two owls. Dysgonia algira and Phlogophora meticulosa.

🦋 Butterfly wing scales of a painted lady. A section of a 20:1 panorama picture which consists of 9 areas. The section shows my absolute "favorite spot" on the underside of the front wing. The wing veins seem like thick tree trunks delicately embedded in a colorful plumage.
605 shots with 0,0004mmm steps were needed to show you one of the three simple eyes of a cuckoo wasp. A very deep and difficult motif. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with the result and could see improvement potential in several processes. So ... let's go.
