…honestly, Zoe’s evolution from a privileged mean-girl school bully archetype into a kindhearted quirky lesbian remains one of the best character arcs I’ve encountered in recent memory!

Maybe that’s part of why I named my new puppy after Zoe Zimmer! Thank you @GWillowWilson!

…but also provides insight into Zoe’s own feelings of insecurity & self-loathing (particularly in relation to her feeling pressured to date boys) which were not only subtly foreshadowed earlier in the run, but also serve as the foundation for Zoe later coming out as a lesbian…

The scene where Zoe apologizes for her previous mean-girl bigoted bullying towards Kamala remains incredibly impactful and multi-layered! I just love how it not only effectively contrasts the genuineness of Kamala’s circle of friends to the fauxness of Zoe’s “popular crowd”…

It’s funny I re-read the “Crushed” arc of @GWillowWilson’s MS. MARVEL run yesterday and got my new dog Zoe today, as there was a quote from Kamala in that arc which perfectly summarizes the feeling of today:

…and plenty of older teen and adult oriented comics still utilize cartoony art-styles, like the HARLEY QUINN: EAT BANG KILL TOUR book being modeled after the visuals of the HQ animated series, but according to Thinking Critical the artwork automatically equals “aimed at kids”…

Like seriously… this idiot seriously believes that comics are “creepily de-aging” both Iceman & Tim Drake simply because of having cartoony artists. That makes zero sense as both Bobby & Tim are still adults regardless of the artwork of their comics…

I really love the way Sheikh Abdullah approaches giving Kamala productive and spiritual advice in continuing to follow the path she’s chosen in helping others, whilst actively working to improve upon her own shortcomings!

One thing I really loved from the X-MEN: FATAL ATTRACTIONS crossover was the portrayal of Gabriel Haller (the mother of Xavier’s son Legion) holds a fair amount of respect for Magneto despite his mutant terrorist activities due to her similar background as an Holocaust survivor.

Lol! Mary Jane certainly knows how to motivate Peter to get out of bed early in the morning!
