February 2021: I was on the Fenty Beauty site and saw this model who I felt had similar features to how I pictured Rajanj
September 2020: rajanis back story and magic has been figured out and when I draw them I have a consistent design.
November 2019: at this point I was properly fleshing out the characters/plot of my fantasy series. I was working on the laws of magic for the universe and exploring Rajanis power
November 2019: I did a bunch of those draw the squad templates of my OCs to develop their personalities some more. Rajani is relatively stoic and intense. She really only likes Aurelia. She’s also no longer considered a villain in the story.
February 2019: and I went back to Lyra. This is also when I first came up with the title Ondævel which translates to something like devil or demon.
April 2018: new name again! Still not Rajani now it’s Leila. I started drawing her with my Lux OCs but her and Aurelia(or whatever her name was at the time) were still in a different universe
June 2017: I decided to revisit the characters: surprise! They’re no longer white and are now obviously gay. at this point her name was Lyra. She was still evil/the villain but she was less schemey and diabolical and more misunderstood and resentful.
