@kiracuriee Both covers of this book have my favorite retro styled dragons. Heavy hitting with childhood nostalgia
Very minor edit, but I redid some details on the back leg of the Gaping Kilnneck, namely adding a patagium much like that found on psittacosaurus. Felt it brought the wing pattern further down the design and thickened the silhouette of the leg
This is a fun question so I’ll qrt. For “strongest bite” type beast it’s the Clatterjaw, for reputation it’s gotta be the Great Kinsbane https://t.co/ZW8CWRDbQm
Armorhead drawing. Despite their bulk, the Gorgelands subspecies is capable of scaling treacherous terrain with ease, reaching the choicest of waxy desert plants. They use their massive heads not only to shield themselves, but to threaten dragons with aggressive displays.
The Bitterhide Kalo! A large mammal that produces sour, foul secretions from a symbiotic algae. They’re also quite strong, known to be able to crack through the iron-strong shells of dragon eggs. Such a bizarre beast is occasionally kept by Pepperman clans in ranches.
@Twomato1 This guy would be the first electric dragon! And to get off the ground, they bunch up and launch with a mix of core strength and wing push
@ZloNoNameSov These. A plethora of mine also inhabit cold weather outside the arctic circle too
Dorsal & ventral view of the Jade Bastionback. Thanks to lightweight plates, these dragons are able to soar in search of new territory. While not the most efficient fliers, they get the job done.
