The Gaping Kilnneck is the fastest known dragon, excellent at speeding toward prey, or away from predators. Their leathery wings are stiffer than most dragons, built to cut through the air. It should be noted that while flying at speed, they cannot breathe their signature fire
@j_stocky Plains! My one of my favorite biomes. I have another plains critter on the way!
Updated my DnD character Umosha’s design! Big ceratopsian lizard man. And a gorgeous skin by my good friend @JurassicSmashed
Dorsal and ventral view of the Painted Bloodletter! As this dragon stands low to the ground, the elaborate colors are hidden behind a more modest back. The darker wings also aid it in absorbing additional heat at the start of the day.
@j_stocky My forest critters are largely mammals, helps to hide away from flying dragons
@desenhocapim Yeah that’s fine, just credit pls! These are your best bets for caves: hellbasker in the desert, black blisterwhip in temperate & tropical, & the hill eater for valleys
Got u:
-veilwright fathers carry their young on their back
-hullbreakers carry them in pouches under the wing for years
- lashers only part ways once their young learn everything about building
- Thundermaw share their cave with hatchlings for almost a decade https://t.co/00Oilg9Tiv
Migrators! Dreadeye migrate to the seaside to breed every autumn, and hullbreakers move into southern reaches of the north to escape the absolute worst of winter https://t.co/vfXPWO0Kw9
