Finally had some time to add colors for Merope but honestly I really don’t know how I want to shade her. Part of me wishes I could color her greyscale but the blue is a big part of her look.

Just a fun quick sketch I did with @AidanCoreArt’s OC Shelly. It was a fun little practice piece and the hair was definitely a challenging thing to capture.

I’ve been watching and studying how other artists have been doing alternate outfits for the same piece so I decided to try it out for myself with this latest Takemi sketch and it has yielded very interesting results! I’ll post them all here as a thread.

Decided to shade Takemi in greyscale for fun and I really enjoyed how it turned out! I had much more fun shading in greyscale, and I have a feeling that it’s because I was never satisfied with how my shading looked in color. I might have to paint with greys more often. 😄
