Variations on a theme. Waterscapes on wood (pine and poplar) using ink pens, ink washes, and carving.

Two current projects. Both are 5.5” X 24” & were drawn with micron pens. Ink washes were then applied afterwards. One is done in pine & the other poplar. They will be framed with the same wood and stained with the same ink.

Work in progress. Pen & ink with India ink washes on a 11” X 48” poplar board.

Recently finished piece, pen and ink on poplar coated with Tung oil (5.5” x 24”.) Now to make an India ink stained frame for it.
