What is the meaning of #art?
It's a path to better understanding the splendor of that which is beyond the yawn: which is the droll, the mundane, the vapid.
It's the realization of vast provinces in a human mind, scintillating kingdoms of myths and magic not to be found elsewhere.
“No man has the right to dictate what other men should perceive, create or produce, but all should be encouraged to reveal themselves, their perceptions and emotions, and to build confidence in the creative spirit.”
― Ansel Adams
“#Art is not for the faint of mind.”
― Matt Foley
“Art is a kind of innate drive that seizes a human being and makes him its instrument. The artist is not a person endowed with free will who seeks his own ends but one who allows Art to realize its purpose through him."
― Carl Gustav Jung, psychiatrist
"Indubitably."

"We are eternal spirits. When we see ourselves as spiritual beings without the labels of country, race, or religion, we find the way to transform the world and reach a sacred place for all of humanity. It's through the union of many colors art is born." — Matt Foley : mixed media

So much of what individuals experience on a daily basis is aggravating, irritating, exasperating.
So much of media is inflammatory.
It leaves one filled with anxiety and trepidation.
What a pitiful situation.
I'll be exploring soulful nuances and realizations of my own wellbeing.
A true artist is an intrepid explorer in the tradition of those who charted new lands. An artist maps vistas never seen before and only will through the talents of that respective creative. An abstractionist records the most amazing locations of all: those found deep in the mind.
Some #artists shout and yell, desperate for attention.
A shout is short-term.
Yelling is not sustainable.
I tend to smile.
Lingering.
Enigmatic.
Fraught with hidden mystery.
Like the countenance of the Cheshire cat - still there,
long after everything else
has disappeared.
