I dunno y it took drawing them next to each other for me to realize Hinata and Kageyama’s color schemes together match the uniform
Tried a diff technique for the whiteout highlight on Kageyama’s hair: it’d b ok if the whiteout didn’t start crumbling to dust

So here’s today’s practice: Kovit (@theplaguebirb @rrschaeffer)!
I played around a bit with color mixing and the skin got a bit desat bc of it, but overall not too bad
still kinda amazing how comfortable I’ve gotten with a new medium I was deathly afraid of before

Hand is feeling a lot better so I should have an actual practice piece up today, might be later in the afternoon than usual tho

Ok this should rly b that last one today I have to finish my digital hw
A revamp of a rando I drew way back when (oh boy) and tried using markers to color
I actually feel rly proud of the saturation levels of this guy

Some #marichat bc y not considering last practice
So I tried adding highlights to the suit, but I don’t rly like the effect tbh
Anyways, I upped the sat on the skin tones bc last practice u can barely see it, and this was more a small detail practice

I’ve been doing a simpler style these past few practices, and I might stick with it bc going more complicated gets messy fast and I don’t have a defined style yet (if ya couldn’t tell) so it’d be real inconsistent

U can prob tell over the past days I’ve found a lining style that rly works with the coloring technique I’ve learned so yeah I’m gonna b using my fine pt sharpie for lines directly from pencil and the thicc boi for hard lines

Today’s practice is Raine from @AFK_Arena, I tried doing a layer thing with the colors (so you’ll notice the colors seem lightly applied in pencil bc I added more directly on the wet paper) to achieve more of the texture of the coloring in the AFK arena style.
