Dromaeosaurids remain some of my favorite non-avian dinosaurs to reconstruct. So here you have some Dromaeosaurids for today’s #SciArtTweetStorm Utahraptor, Wulong, Deinonychus and Sinornithosaurus #sciart #paleoart
So I heard there is a #SciArt tweetstorm happening. So I am going to post these sketches (3 first plates) and illustration (4) of some Neotropical frogs. I really enjoy depicting extant amphibians but hardly ever get commissioned to do so.
A closer, better quality view of the head. I always imagine the heads of abelisaurids as being boldly patterned (for display purposes).
Portraits of long gone big birbs. Aepyornis maximus (Giant Elephant Bird) left; Dinornis robustus (South Island Giant Moa) right.
A creature I just sketched. I imagine this creature as some sort of diplomat
Two more morning speedpaints/sketches for #MosasaurWeek. Two early mosasaurs, top: Pannionisaurus, bottom: Tethysaurus #paleoart
Working on Moas again for a commission. I am doing quick, very rough and basic color studies like this one to try palettes that I like.
Here is a closer view to the six species of Callimedusa #frogs #WorldFrogDay
