I don't even remember what this was for, specifically, but I like it. It dates to 12 March 2019.
I'm not in tears, but I'm also not far in my frustration. I'm trying to draw in my splint because I have a looming deadline. I can barely keep a grip on my pen and all nuance is gone. My drawings suck and the worst thing: it hurts like crazy just to make something like the below.
Oh, also vector (and vector-adjacent) illustration isn't fun for me. It's a simple style that is very popular in the market right now (for the last 15 years?) and it just isn't any fun for me.

Ran across this illustration for an article 5 years ago on films and performances that should've won Oscars but the wrong choice won. It was my first try using a G-pen.
Surprised they let me get away with that bright splash of blood.
@BenHatke I clearly haven't paid attention to archery that isn't in Asian media because I actually had no idea people didn't use their thumb 😅😅
@OlsonElijah @Jarrett_Lerner Monkess The Homunculus probably isn't funny, is it? But it *might* be!?
Poking thru some papers and found these watercolor adventurers from a couple years ago.
I stopped buying Usagi when they started coloring them, but I still check them out on Hoopla.
Vol 37 is the second color book and the stories are great, both interesting and exciting. Top-tier Usagi. The book would be perfect in black-and-white. Color is still a diminishment😐
