Steve sticks out only because we aren't used to the style yet.
Minecraft isn't the only character that sticks out, the difference is we just had 18 years to get used to it.

What's the issue?

I guess Shantae is big enough to not bootleg once, but twice. First a store, now a costume!

It's so frustrating seeing companies so petty anymore.
I'm so tired of hearing every few years that a company or individual trying to copyright a commonly used word or phrase and threaten to sue if others attempt to use that phrase or word. Like really? REALLY!?
