Next up on the #mermay art roster, unsurprising to no one, Winx club is a huge part of my art identity. Musa was my first Winx doll, and I was a sucker for that mermaid Harmonix look.

I rarely post the progress but I genuinely enjoy this one! Sketch, line, and base colors!

Finally found the inspiration to get on some #Mermay art! This Mermay’s theme: mermaids that influenced my life and art!

First up is this mermaid Barbie I had when I was kid. I was obsessed with this doll, she was my absolute favorite Barbie. She was so sparkly and she lit up!

Not only did I get to make some bookmarks for @mermaidzine but I also got to make some postcards! I wanted to capture that “seaside vacation” feeling with these, and I’m really happy with how they turned out!
