I dont have any time to time to sit down and actually concept assets; I have an idea, I gather a bunch of inspiration and refs, and then I Make it as I go along, which is stressful and frustrating. This time I sat down to actually do some sketches first!

finished the portrait practice painting i started the other day! i challenged myself to not pick any colours from my reference, and to do as much as I could with only an oil brush!

2014 > 2020

went from having no interest in 3d, to falling in love with 3d during my animation degree, to being the sole 3d artist on my game!

wip of the new portrait painting ref practice i started last night... this time I exclusively used a kyle oil brush, and eyeballed all the colours

(and cheated with colour correction a bit after because my second ref monitor has totally different colours than the one i paint on)
