@Cipher_db Oh, late, but he also did an official Marvel collab with Spider-Man and Iron Man called "Secret Reverse" where they fight a card-playing super villain in Japan, which I assume was a huge honor.
@Cipher_db Takahashi had a few assistants. (At least 5?) One of them was Akira Itou, who went on to draw the Yugioh R manga. One of them was Naoyuki Kageyama. Both of them talented artists in their own right.
@Cipher_db Yeah, these are based off of the bunko versions of the manga which are made many years after the fact with Takahashi's (at then) new artstyle which was mostly digital.
And his assistant Akira Itou ended up drawing the spinoff YGO R. Later, the manga for Cardfight Vanguard.
@cheripi_ even the non teikoku kageki dan members had better uniforms (and were better, more endearing characters overall might I add)

@blockwonkel unfortunate because the manga has really good art lol
In addition, the magazine's name is Bessatsu Marmaret. A play on Bessatsu Margret (別冊マーガレット) which is Shueisha's shojo manga imprint currently running since 1964.
