Continuing Donkey Kong December, it's Diddy Kong whom I've never liked the design of... shame, as he's the protagonist of one of my favorite games. You know the drill, gave him a look I'd prefer. I like the end result!

Yoshi's modern design is one of those awful cases where a company clearly pumps a character through a machine to make all of it's features as "adorable and marketable" as possible, instead of allowing it to be naturally cute on it's own which just makes it feel fake and hollow.

In my lifetime, I have drawn the Sonic cast to the point of pure disillusionment. So, as I am want to do, I tried my hand at redesigning them in ways preferable to me.

As an avid fan of Donkey Kong Country, I can safely say that Retro studios did a phenomenal job at reviving the series. However, I have one caveat that must be addressed. Why wasn't Candy Kong used for the level checkpoints, instead of this godforsaken pig!?
