Mama Possum ($5 to download, playable in browser) - i'll just quote the game's page for this great interactive fiction: Two sisters, a truck driver and a housewife, fend off a Kaiju apocalypse in the Great Smoky Mountains with their mech Mama Possum. https://t.co/cp1ZQB2MEh
Pixatool ($14.95) - my personal software of choice when it comes to any sort of pixelization work of existing art and photos, be it for a project, or just for funsies! has built in palettes for many old platforms, or can add your own! https://t.co/L738UJXRgW
ps3 (and hell, even pachinko) battler does have ONE particular advantage i am willing to give credit for though, and it's that it really helps communicate one of his personal traits he refuses to shut up about: "i'm tall"
meanwhile if i see ryukishi's art, which in terms of most 'technical' evaluations wouldn't be As Good, i'm just 'hell yeah, gimme that shit, that's umineko. that's the passion, that's ryukishi, that's what this is'
i literally actively prefer the original ryukishi sprites over any of the remake art. it has way more personality and passion to me. like the pachinko art Sucks, people tend to go for ps3 art instead and... it's not bad! it's fine!
but that's just it, y'know? it's fine. it works
getting back into umineko tonight and prepping for it by refreshing myself on my own previous time on it and honestly with no joke at all ryukishi remains extremely inspiring as an artist in pursuing his work with the limited artistic skills he actually has
@BitchSkully @DNOpls he can always bring back the lil red slippers he had from sf1
@pareene my eternal advice to dems panicking about bad polling and worrying (rightly) about the midterms, that they will never, ever, ever listen to
