I like how all the pages in this issue show the security cam cottage of Mara’s cell (even after she escapes), neat little storytelling device.
Where exactly would this be on a city-wide planet? My pre-Episode I memory is pretty fuzzy, but was Coruscant not covered completely in those stories?

I’m definitely not sold on the art in this series but I do like the coloring, I’m a sucker for soft desaturated colors.
The art is definitely much different from previous stories… not sure how I feel about it yet.

Always thought skyhooks were a cool concept, but they don’t seem to really appear in anything but these two Shadows of the Empire series… do they?
Tonight I’m gonna read Shadows of the Empire evolution, which I remember liking at 13. Let’s see if it still holds up. The covers by Duncan Pegredo are definite bangers though.
