#xspoilers Krakoan literature as introduced in New Mutants 31 that could be a powerful means of countercultural expression. There is a stark contrast between the Lost Club’s struggle to express themselves through writing & the way they discuss their disaffection privately. (1/7)
Dazzler’s outback era journey is one of my favourites. From a reluctant self-doubting would be hero who has to work through tangled histories with team mates to a powerful sunglass wearing hero with focussed control over her power, Alison becomes a bonafide leading mutant.
Scott’s approach to communicating his discomfort with Alex is to cloud genuine concern with fraternal bravado. This draws out the symptom not the cause, which Scott can more easily confront. By not having an earnest conversation with his brother, he exacerbates the issue. (4/5)

#xspoilers While this week also belonged to Magneto, Storm and Arrakko, I hope the return of Jeaaaaaan Jeanie the meanie supremey will be one of the long lasting legacies of a great week for X-Men.
#xspoilers Even in a simulated, false reality, no one does dying vengefully like Doom.
Every single person who worked on this page from Defenders brought their A-game. Incredible stuff.
The Krakoa era has given us some great new textual relationships but I crave even more. The amount of mutants sat around with nothing to do, they would definitely be hooking up.
