#xspoilers 1st thoughts on Knights of X: After navigating some slightly complex & esoteric Otherworld lore to establish the quest, #1 lays exciting foundations. The early character beats are great & the macguffin at the centre of the story opens up fantastic possibilities. (1/4)
Following my read through of the first 20 issues of Excalibur I’ve been confounded, mesmerised and befuddled in equal measure. It’s definitely of the more intriguing X-books I’ve read and its genre-bending is both its biggest strength and weakness.
