It just might be Suda Goichi showing that Travis Touchdown is a Sega fan, as the Death Drive is probably after the Sega Megadrive with its "Se-ga!" jingle and all, where the Death Drive Mark-2 may be a play on the Sega Mark-3.

I don't know why, but some character designs from Suda Goichi games are sort of…collapsing into one? Morishima Tokio's hair and Uehara Kamui's sunglasses from "The Silver Case" into Henry Cooldown from "No More Heroes"…

If this is who I think it is, then this would be the SECOND time a Suda Goichi novel character became a Suda Goichi game character.
