Jenny Saville inspired close cropped portrait 2 day workshop. 11.15-2.15pm at Askham Richard Village Hall this Weds and Thurs. £60 (or £65 to include 50x50cm square preprimed mdf board.We'll be looking composition, what makes a portrait interesting and we'll be using BIG brushes.

Great day taking Expressive Portraits in watercolour @yorkartandcrafts. Everybody really went for it experimenting with colour despite the heat. Beautiful setting with lovely people.

Cezanne inspired still life workshop tomorrow at Askham Richard Village Hall 10-2.30pm £30
A luscious still life will be set up ready, together we will look at Cezanne, his mark making then away we'll go. Fun, friendly with all levels welcome.

Joined in with my @yorklearning class today, who can resist a sunflower or two! Quite frankly, got carried away with paint and a big brush but enjoyed myself in the process nevertheless.

I'm #artistinresidence for Thorganby Folk, started Saturday watching the fantastic @AskewSisters and Sarah Dean. Listening to their music inspired the colourful splashes as the girls play a jaunty hornpipe...love it..exciting times.
