Started as a demo piece from my portrait class and decided to continue at home..more resolution needed around the eyes but will leave for now. A great face to paint of the late Seamus Heaney. @MakeItYork @YorkCA2018 @seamusheaneyest @yorklearning
Seasonal still life in watercolour from today. Just love a pumpkin or two (or three!!) @yorklearning @ArtsYorkOnline
So my ten week portrait class came to an end yesterday..boo! But it's back by popular demand from September 19th, 9.30-11.30am at Askham Richard Village Hall...hurrah! Get in touch if you want to join our happy, friendly group. Full tuition given. Just £90 for 10 week course.
Today was supposed to a houseclean and gardening day but so wanted to do @Purpleman1 portrait first. Been meaning to paint this well known York face for a while. Great to see him yesterday and thanks for taking the time to chat to the kids as we did the Black Cat Trail.
Revealing the first York Hero portrait...it's Andrew Fair. Please take time to listen to the radio interview from this morning, it shows what a star Andrew really is. (1hr16mins in)
