FROM JORDAN & US: @SaraAlfageeh’s works have everything that we love: they’re fresh, with recognizable characters, they deconstruct the cultural markers of our society and they have an inimitable sense of adventure about them.

FROM HUNGARY: Vilmos Aba-Novák created many spectacular murals in churches across Hungary, but his heart belonged to the profane: his depictions of the circus performers are bright, tender visions—and seek out the ubiquitous naughty monkeys.

FROM RUSSIA: Andrei Sokolov’s father managed the construction of the Baikonur spaceport, and Sokolov himself studied to be an architect but his love for sci-fi and the magic of space age overtook him, and he became Soviet Union’s foremost space artist.
