the content warning *is* the content in this movie. i could maybe argue there's some statement to be made about straight people trying to mimic gay people, but it's drowned out by a guy named crackers flexing his bare asshole while surfin bird blares

ghost world (2001): 9/10

a poignant drama about what happens when a high school cynicism and sense of superiority gets confronted with the real world, and when you're directionlessly reacting to life while your peers are figuring theirs out. it really resonated with me

as an aside, this character or being or whatever in lanota's art for brain power is extremely good and i'm happy to see them return, plus i think i also love that little fluffy dude on the brain power remix too, need to see em closer but still super cute 👀
