Let me tell you something about me and what I love in Superman art the most:

If your image just nails that utterly perfect "Look, buddy... you sure you wanna do this? In MY town?" expression that only Superman can truly do, I will love what you have created with my entire heart

Anyone else have a piece of comic art they don't like, but somehow also adore?

This is a prime example for me. There's no reason for him to be shiny. His legs look like Ross used Liefeld's work for reference.

And yet, I simply can't express to you how much I love this pic 😍

As silly as it is, the Death and Return of Superman is utterly dear to me. It's what made Kid Tyler (a Marvel kid) finally check out DC; without it, I'd possibly never have fallen for Superman, Batman, the Lanterns... what a wild thought.

Last Supes kick, I found a glorious figure set I didn't know existed, and managed to find one for a decent price, a purchase I described to @strrbuck as "maybe the most excited I've ever been for a toy"

This has been calling to me so loudly from the stash I can't resist anymore!
