All of these "Dakota Johnson cast as Madame Web" tweets are cracking me up, because they keep posting her next to the ancient old lady version and everyone is like "WHAAAAA"

No matter your feels about Star Wars, can we all come together to agree that there's absolutely nothing in the entire franchise more dumb than when Luke uses a thin wire that would slice his hand off to swing from a lower platform to a MUCH higher one (?!) with Leia just chillin?

I'll be damned if I don't round out my top five with Ty Yorrick, with bonus pics to boot. Hard grey Ahsoka vibe with a particularly slick lightsaber that rolled as a "monster hunter" for hire? That's all extremely rad, plus we share a name so obviously we'd be BFFs 😎

X-binge got me basically caught up, and now I'm ready to continue that "get current" streak by catching up on the few issues of Daredevil I'm behind and some other street-level stuff, then finally getting into the thing I've been looking forward to the most 😍

Two other thoughts that keep rattling around in my mind post-Death Metal:

- surprise at how interesting I found the Batman Who Laughs, a character I 🙄'd at at first that's won me over a bit
- reminders that I fucking love the Robin King, the actual best villain in the story
