Anyone remember Ulysses from Civil War II? He was a living plot device who we’ve never heard from again. Remember that the story ended with him becoming a cosmic entity? Yeah. That happened.
And, lastly... Miles and the Champions take the fight into their own hands to repeal Kamala's Law in Champions #6!
Plus, we've got the launch of Spider-Man: Spider's Shadow, the new Zdarsky mini-series where he imagines What If? Spider-Man became Venom.
We can't take a break, because the much delayed Non-Stop Spider-Man #2 is promising more action than any other comic in history. Bring it on!
Today’s mood:
We have work to do, particularly in regard to our loved ones and fellow Americans who have been transformed into monsters by grievance and lies. The work of bringing them back to reality will take us to hell and back but we must do it. We can’t dodge responsibility.
To be clear, the MILES MORALES: SPIDER-MAN comic has been excellent ever since @saladinahmed came onboard. He's fixing every problem I've had with the character over the years, and even had him flight clones in an awesome ongoing story. I'm very excited for this new event.
We've also got this cover for Amazing Spider-Man (vol. 5) #60 from Mark Bagley, which draws inspiration from a @sinKEVitch wedding poster. But the Bagley cover can't help but feel like a placeholder. Are they hiding something else? It just has triggered my Spidey senses.
Marvel has only released the variant covers for the Amazing Spider-Man books in January. I suspect a major status quo change is coming and they can't even reveal the covers without giving away the changes in Spidey's life.
