Amazing Spider-Man #27, "Bring Back My Goblin to Me". The thirteenth letter is "O" and the twentieth letter is "M".
Amazing Spider-Man #23, "The Goblin and the Gangsters". The fifth letter is "O", the ninth letter is "N", and the twentieth letter is "S". We have the last name... "OSBORN". Great. But which one? Alton? Amerson? Mona?
Amazing Spider-Man #17, "The Return of the Green Goblin". The fourth letter is "R" and the tenth letter is "O".
Amazing Spider-Man #14, "The Grotesque Adventure of the Green Goblin". The thirty-fourth letter is "B". Okay, that's a start.
From this arc, Amazing Spider-Man #537, pencils by Ron Garney, inks by Bill Reinhold, colors by Matt Milla, words by J. Michael Straczynski. Happy 4th of July!
I really didn't dig the Amazing Spider-Man tie-ins or the Alpha issue, but I have to admit...the 2099 event is actually an absolute, shocking blast! I'm bummed I skipped it.
What is it with all these Spider-Man B-Titles only really figuring out what they should be in their final issue, after eschewing forgettable long-form storytelling? FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN #14 was excellent and the kind of story the rest is of the run rarely featured.
@studiesincrap To that point, the title page has a great look and man... the lettering in this book is... :chef's kiss:
