Day trip to @AshmoleanMuseum to see some favourite Pre-Raphaelites - and admire Ruskin's eye and hand. (Ruskin, 'Kingfisher' & Charles Allston Collins, 'Convent Thoughts ',1851)

This version is now in the V&A, while the original (commissioned by Frances Horner) is in Mells church. It is plain white plaster. It hangs close to the 'Love' embroidery worked by Frances to #BurneJones's design (also in V&A)
