I'm very excited to announce my solo show: "Near & Far" is taking place next month at the @GairlochMuseum! It opens on the 19th Aug to the 12th of September. In addition to the paintings in the gallery space, there will be drawings for sale in the shop. Artwork can be posted.

The larger is an oil painting of "Loch Maree from the Beinn Eighe trail" & a small one, "Blà Bheinn" on Skye.

A watercolour on postcard painting of Gairloch Beach which was done this afternoon when it was too hot to do much of anything except sit next to an open window in the shade.

@holnicoteNH @RobGMacfarlane @ELBradshaw I'm orbiting Baosbheinn, one of the Torridon mountains, in my head, several times, every day. I've only been up to the top twice,& both times, just as I approached what would have been the view over to Badachro, Gairloch, Skye and the other Torridon Mountians, thick clouds came.
