Anyway, the baddies' retreat is crashed by a very undead Wonder Woman, and with Savage splatted early in the chaos, Shiva takes command and leads the survivors back through Mirror Master's portals and into the orphanage and hey

I'm gonna chalk her lack of response to emotional distress but I very much appreciate how she seems seconds away from caving Vandal's throat in.

Anyway, Shiva is ushered off at gunpoint and we get an oddly tender moment where Cass offers her to stay. And although Shiva refuses, they still acknowledge each other as family.

It's good to note that by this point Cass has had nearly all of her own found family die...

And in a moment that is most pleasing to me in my career, Jason Todd tries to intercede and eats one of the most beautifully understated high kicks in comics this decade.

Anyway, things pick up real quick next issue where it's revealed that Shiva has been tasking Mirror Master with finding Cass, who's made it to an orphanage in Bludhaven with Gordon, Jason and Ace the Bat-Hound.

Now, DCeased is an alternate universe, and it's not clear...

Between the straps, the armguards and the half belt thing, it's clearly based on Jim Lee's Hush design. And like with that design, I can't say I'm a huge fan of it. I appreciate some of the finer details, like the qipao-like skirt and the slippers, but...
