Happy #ValentinesDay to the longest, most faithful and heartwarming couple in all of DC Comics:
Lady Shiva and Violence.
(art by Siqueira, Cowan and Blanco)
Like Dre said, Shiva is always stompin' on the easiest streets that you can walk on. https://t.co/ffy3mPU9to
Friendly reminder that this week's issue of BATMAN AND THE OUTSIDERS is the first time Lady Shiva's featured in a cover since July 2017 and that?
That's pretty sweet.
She's not in it but here's a preview so you can get ready for the big payback: https://t.co/oxsAsUXUDL
Look, I genuinely loved the entire cast of #BirdsOfPrey . I cannot give them and the stunt crew enough props for the A+++ fight scenes they made. So I want y'all to know that it is with the utmost respect that I say:
I'd give a lung to watch them all get wrecked by Lady Shiva.
@DamionScott2 And because Scott's a superb artist and Puckett is a smart writer, the narration doesn't see the need to explain all that, focusing on Cass trying to figure out why this is happening instead of merely repeating what we can clearly see is happening. They complement each other.
The party don't start 'til she walks in.
- BATGIRL #25 (2002) by Kelley Puckett, Damion Scott, Robert Campanella and Jason Wright.
Nice try Jason, but your "chilling next to a wall of swords" technique still needs practice. And maybe a few dragon pillows.
Although issue 1 took a while to click, issue 2 of THE QUESTION: THE DEATHS OF VIC SAGE was an absolute delight from cover to cover. Loved every single gravel-covered page of it to bits. Glorious western grit from @JeffLemire, @DenysCowan, @sinKEVitch and @SotoColor.
