@Dylan_Macri Don't make me choose...
(it's probably one of these two)
You'll forgive me the expression, but Cass' obvious, unapologetic enjoyment of fighting -- of speaking in her first language -- is her edge.
And it's not an edge I'd like to see blunted or unused.
It's just them sharing certain traits in common that make all the sense in the world for their characters, while also serving as something that can bring them closer. It's them arriving at similar places through wildly different paths. It's them speaking the same language.

@emmasfrosts Hi, sorry for coming outta the blue, but I'd suggest checking out:
- O'Neil/Cowan's THE QUESTION #1-2, 28-31, 36, 37 and the Annual
- Puckett/Scott's BATGIRL #7-9, 23 & 25
- Simone/Benes/Siqueira's BIRDS OF PREY #62-7 & 92-95
- Hill/Soy's BATMAN AND THE OUTSIDERS #6-17
Once that doubt is gone and knowing how much of a perfectionist Cass is, I see zero reason for Shiva to disapprove when she knows fully well how powerful her daughter can become if she embraces her nature and follows her path, wherever it goes.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk!
