@Harusakiemon @AjthreetJ Yup, that's about it. Before the comic, Denny O'Neil wrote a Richard Dragon novel under a pseudonym that then got adapted to the comic. In it, Richard was white, but producer Bruce Timm said that they changed him to look like Bruce Lee in the movie based off the novel's cover.
Lost amidst all the hustle and bustle of the last few days was the reveal of the full cover, with title and all, for RICHARD DRAGON: KUNG FU FIGHTER - COMING OF THE DRAGON!
Funny enough, the logo is taken straight outta Chuck Dixon and Scott McDaniel's 2004 run.
@ivrione No prob! I first found her reading Question and I liked her a lot, then again in Birds of Prey and liked her there too. But it was only when I re-read Question for the third time after reading a bunch of other stuff that I really started to see her as more than cool kung fu lady.
Ben does appear in Tom King's BATMAN: REBIRTH run, most notably in the "I Am Suicide" arc (#9-13), and Shiva does get a starring role in James Tynion IV's DETECTIVE COMICS run ("League of Shadows", #950-956) but for my money, neither of them are particularly good showings.
The 2000s picked up right away, with Shiva appearing in Kelley Puckett and Damion Scott's BATGIRL run and Richard making a surprise appearance in Greg Rucka and Rick Burchett's BATMAN/HUNTRESS: CRY FOR BLOOD #3. Both of which are very good stories well worth reading.
