Jim Starlin, the co-creator of Shang-Chi, and Doug Moench, his most popular writer, have both written Lady Shiva. Starlin wrote her in A Death In The Family, and Moench in Knightsend and Batman #534.

I don't really have a problem with Batman saying "fuck" because I always assumed that's just what his internal monologue looks like every time he has to fight Lady Shiva.
