My pfp is the first layer in a botched self-portrait I was doing based on this photo. My establishing this base, I am prepping my values. Also note the multiple colors I include!
I love white/negative space in my work, and it’s possible to incorporate that! I would hope no one thinks these are whitewashed! But I didn’t paint either of these lovely folks brown, and incorporate white space, but you can tell they are dark!
