New book cover! Claws of the Dragon by @MrBarbeler, book 2 of the Edge Force series. Had a blast painting this one over top of that ink wash. Having the general values worked out early helped SO much and made the process smooth as silk. Doesn't hurt that Matt's a great client :D

I've done similar in the past with pencil drawings, but had a devil of a time sorting out values and painting out my lines. This "new" method thus far has been BRILLIANT in terms of having all the info there prior to painting.
