Today, a landmark of my childhood ends. The final 4 episodes of Arthur premieres on @PBSKIDS. @arthurpbs was a huge part of my life. I grew up with the show and now, at 27, the series is ending. Today, I have to say goodbye to our favorite aardvark. Thank you and goodbye, Arthur.

David's evolution from creation to god in Prometheus and Alien: Covenant is one of my favorite arcs in modern sci-fi. An incredibly complex and profound character. Look at his works, ye mighty, and despair. A corrupted incorruptible entity. The entry of the gods into Valhalla.

This is concept art from an abandoned live-action remake of Akira, which would've not had a Japanese cast and would've been set in Neo-New York. This version and the most recent attempt were cancelled.

Today on #GlobalMovieDay, I want to celebrate the two films that I consider to be the greatest works of film of all-time: Seven Samurai and 2001: A Space Odyssey. No film in human history will ever compare to these two masterpieces. Truly the best works of cinema. @TheAcademy

26 years ago today, the original 1995 Ghost in the Shell was released and, in honor of that, I also wanted to mention that its sequel, Innocence, is an equally impressive, visually breathtaking, deeply philosophical, & incredibly complex film. An extremely underrated masterpiece.

Happy 26th anniversary to Hideaki Anno's Neon Genesis #Evangelion, one of the most influential pieces of Japanese media. A series that I hold very dear to my heart. One of the biggest influences in my life. Thank you, Eva. Congratulations! おめでとう! @evangelion_co @khara_inc
