Works like Frederick or Reyson who can special summon themselves in response to upgrading your units. You could actually play all three at once from a single class change if you really wanted to...
Decks using class changers like Chrom, Lucina, and Tiki can appreciate this card
The deployment cost change is a reduction and not a fixed adjustment, which still lets Sothe become c3 or higher through a card like Kaze (rare interaction)
He's a good assist for the queen Micaiah setup before she becomes level 7 but this is important to keep in mind
Surprisingly, they've never printed an Ike like this before. But now they have, and we've seen this a number of time before
It's a simple card meant for the unit to focus on one target for attack efficiency. It gets the job done, and tailors an aggro playstyle
Some other topdeck methods besides Sophia (you'd need 3 bonds in total which is costly)
c3 Valjean
c3 Eliwood
Cards with Fate or Courage Emblem
Eirika's card draw shares similar restrictions with Gerik and Marisa who need a number of allies on the front line to use effects
Combined with c4 Ephraim who benefits from controlling multiple allies on the same line, I think this can make up a strong and effective vanguard
Leif already comes with good BS skills and no doubt his final SR will be the same. Instead of focusing on combat the new Leif prioritizes getting these cards (or other Leifs) into your bonds to use their effects more consistently

The new Brigid can reach a higher attack power without spending bond flips, unlike her original version and more recent early game yellow archers. This gives Brigid a distinct role of being a stronger archer while also providing more flexibility on how to utilize resources
Doesn't offer much as a unit, but innate immunity to skill destruction is his greatest strength since he doesn't need to rely on Ethlyn anymore to not get deleted by the likes of Ilyana or Zephiel. This card is all about survival and supporting Sigurd (remember he has a new SR)
Yellow is that color where it's okay to bond your leader cards, since there are various ways to transport bonds between areas
So you can set Sigurd's best cards as bonds with some foresight knowing you should be able to retrieve them later. That's what this Sigurd expects of you
