Sad news about John Le Carré this morning. This is the map of London that his publisher Penguin Books commissioned me to draw in 2017 (around the time A Legacy of Spies was published) that shows various characters, locations and scenes from his spy novels. https://t.co/NuXgnFcpXZ

I just realised I haven't been sharing many new projects recently, so here's a small illustrated #map of London's #Bankside neighbourhood I created for @couriermedia last month, along with some of my original preparatory sketches for the landmarks.

After that I will likely focus on maps of European capitals, a project which I've had in mind for some years. For these, I'd love to replicate the look of early c20th Baedeker maps (a style I've previously attempted to replicate here https://t.co/002lvma88E) /3
