probably the biggest release of the week, i don't think there's anything else coming out in any medium (lucky timing)

sometime in the past two years i did learn to come up with a painting plan -and- stick to ~60% of it -- lifesaver in situations like this that would be very frustrating with my old infinitely more scattershot approach

best painting i've seen in a while

the scene ended up with the palette of nite owl's outfit, -and- there's a guy with a cape in it. uh oh.
(will i change a quarter of the issue just to avoid having to hear someone astutely going "and the palette is a clear nod to watchmen"? no)

drawing an unrelated thing but remembered drawing a wallet in Spider-Ben's back pocket last year, and it made me laugh heartily

monday so far: sitting in a waiting room and listening to jazz (on purpose) -- so it evens out to good
