I took Griff to see Devin Cuddy at Gary’s Garage and now G is working on writing a song for his assignment about the BP Oil spill. He told me , “Mom, the story is already there, I just have to make the words rhyme.” Now where did he hear that, @DevinCuddy ?😄

On our Calendar of Kindness, we have been making a list of pp in the neighbourhood who need a boost or a thank you. We made the cards his week and today we delivered them or mailed them. #ChooseKind #ChooseGood @HewittsCreek @SCDSBey

We love participating in Mindful Moment outside. Today we all huddled together and Wyatt said "It felt like we were all helping each other be calm". Thank you @HewittsCreek and @nancyjones12345 for playing music on the outdoor speakers.

Owen is Provocateur this week so he is responsible for creating a provocation for N who comes to visit us from @scampbellkenny class. He is working on the 5 senses so O built a castle with colourful cubes for him to look at! N ❤️it! @SCDSBey @HewittsCreek

There are many wonderful things to observe at the easel. Today there were no words exchanged but I appreciate the comfort, cooperation & kindness they showed to each other as they learn to communicate in a shared language. Not English or Russian but Art!

Our newest Learning Story began by examining a woodpecker tree. We then began to wonder what might live in the holes & the tree. We read The Busy Tree & turned our post into our own busy tree. More to come! @SCDSBey @HewittsCreek
